Philadelphia 76ers forward Georges Niang has sparked controversy for a controversial play during Game 7 of his team’s Western Conference semifinals series against the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Niang was seen grabbing Celtics star Jaylen Brown’s leg as he tried to get back on offense, resulting in a technical foul for Niang and a technical foul for Brown for taunting.

Replays revealed that Brown had every reason to be angry because Niang’s actions was unethical and unsportsmanlike. In the second quarter, Brown stopped a ball from going out of bounds close to the Sixers bench area, and then he started yelling at Philadelphia players.

The Boston Celtics are in lead 88-62 at the end of the third quarter. Whoever wins this game will go on to face the Miami Heat in the Conference final.
