The Warriors-Thunder game on March 7th, 2023, witnessed a dramatic moment that caught the attention of basketball fans and enthusiasts across social media platforms. Draymond Green, one of Golden State’s star players, walked off the court in frustration, adding another chapter to his already controversial history with teammates.

According to reports, Green’s frustration stemmed from teammate Jordan Poole’s failure to pass him the ball when he was open near the basket. This incident was captured on camera and quickly went viral on social media, fueling discussions and debates about team dynamics and leadership in the Warriors camp.

This is not the first time that Green has been embroiled in controversies with his teammates. In October 2022, he reportedly punched Poole in the face during a practice session, leading to widespread condemnation from fans and analysts. Green is known for being an emotional and outspoken player, a trait that has contributed to his success on the court but has also caused clashes with others. The incident occurred in the third quarter of the game, with the Warriors leading by 14 points, and Green’s behavior was seen by some as a sign of frustration and lack of leadership.

Despite being one of the best teams in the NBA, the Warriors have been struggling with injuries and inconsistency, which may have contributed to Green’s frustration. However, his walk-off has sparked a debate about his impact on the team’s success this season, with many questioning whether his emotional outbursts could prove to be a liability.

After the game, Green did not apologize or explain his actions, merely stating that he was “just frustrated” and had “not done anything wrong.” Poole did not comment on the incident either but emphasized his focus on winning the game and his good relationship with Green.

The Warriors’ coach, Steve Kerr, expressed disappointment in Green’s behavior and stated that he would speak with him privately. While acknowledging Green’s passion and competitiveness, Kerr emphasized the need for him to channel it better.

In conclusion, Draymond Green’s walk-off has generated controversy and raised questions about his leadership and impact on the team’s success. As the Warriors continue their quest for glory this season, it remains to be seen how Green’s behavior will affect their fortunes on the court.

The Golden State Warriors look to defend their title this season once again with their star roster back to being completely healthy. They’ve had quite a rollercoaster of a season as they didn’t exactly have the best start to the season with their star players Jordan Poole and Draymond Green getting into an altercation with each other. They dropped continuous games but as they started winning they lost Stephen Curry to an injury who is since back. They now are leaving no stone unturned to keep their title hopes alive.

Draymond Green recently opened up to Taylor Rooks about the infamous incident involving him and Jordan Poole. Speaking on the matter he said“That video was put out there like that to portray me the exact way it did.” To which Rooks asked, “You feel like it was a calculated thing for the video to come out?” Green responded by saying “100%,” he responded. “You’ve never seen another video from our practices. … Who was it calculated by? I don’t know. I would still love to know the answer.”

In October, four days after the video was made public, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr declared that Green had received a fine but not a suspension. For “the shame” the altercation had caused Poole, his family, and the Warriors, Green said he had apologized to them.

Green claimed that he continuously watched the tape till he had a terrible opinion of himself in his conversation with Rooks. Although he acknowledged that what people say, counts, he stated he was “going through hell, dealing with the court of opinion” before adding that he doesn’t care.
