Draymond Green

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are back in action and ready to dominate the league again. Things didn’t start well for them this season and thanks to Draymond Green for that. As the former DPOY showed out his boxing skills on Jordan Poole by swinging a strong right on his face which knocked him down. This disturbed the team and the impact was seen all over the internet.

But they bounced back before the season started and manhandled the LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers on the ring night. But the Denver Nuggets got revenge on them and handed them their first loss of the season. And, it was to do nothing with the Draymond Green situation. As Green, the biggest trash-talker and the dirtiest active player in the league did his job throughout the game. But ended up on the unfortunate losing end.

Draymond Green showed the Warriors’ fanbase his importance and value against the Denver Nuggets who won at 128-123. He gave some old 2016 vibes as he wasn’t just their defensive unit but had a good impact on the offensive end too. As he contributed with 13 points, 9 assists and 3 rebounds while getting two steals and two blocks.

The disrespect against Draymond Green has been unreal since the Jordan Poole situation. And, he does deserve that but fans making senseless claims of him being trash and a decoy who got carried are just unacceptable. He also has a new nickname as fans call him “Single-Triple”. But a lot has been said and heard and now Green looks to retain his respect and position as he’s back as the man-in-charge.

In the game, Draymond Green didn’t just play some DPOY level defense against the Nuggets, especially the two time reigning MVP Nikola Jokic. But he also drained a three pointer, ran coast to coast, and got some points for the team by taking and making shots. Which is something you don’t expect him to do these days.

Draymond Green’s career has been seriously impacted after his punch on Jordan Poole. But he has a lot of time left on his hand to fix the mess he has created. And, he has already started to put in the required effort for it. The Warriors now will be facing the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, October 23. And, many expect Green to continue doing what he’s known for since he was drafted by the Dubs.
