What are the chances of spotting Michael Jordan in Italy? Well, pretty low but this Italian restaurant struck gold when their three customers turned out to be three of the most decorated men in the world.

‘His Airness,’ along with Pulp fiction star, Samuel L. Jackson, and Lakers legend Magic Johnson were spotted on their Italian Vacation. This was a rare public appearance from Michael Jordan especially following his departure from the NBA scene a few weeks ago.

The clip of the trio went viral on Twitter, with the three of them seemingly enjoying a singing session with other customers at the diner. A Twitter user La Giornata Tipo wrote on the post (auto-translated by Twitter), “Last night in Capri there were Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson who sang “Volare” and “Tu vuò fà americano” with tambourines, cymbals, and mandolins, attracting people from the other tables. Ah, Samuel L. Jackson was there too.” The user added, ” Here we are beyond the multiverse.”

The trip is speculated to be a celebratory vacation for Jordan as the goat is just two weeks removed from selling the Hornets for $3 Billion. It sure is a treat for the fans to see two Goats of the NBA spending quality retirement time together, but nobody would’ve guessed a cameo from the Marvel actor.

Michael Jordan sold his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets a few weeks ago. He will be handing his mantle over to the group led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall, both of whom owned stakes in other NBA teams. Jordan’s departure from the driver’s seat spelt an end to a 13-year-long marriage with the Charlotte Hornets organization. The Chicago legend bought the team back in 2010 for a reported $275 million, the goat is speculated to earn around $3 billion from this sale, 11 times the return on his initial investment.

However, the percentage of the stakes he is selling is not made public but the larger portion of it is suspected to be sold. It was also reported that Jordan will remain as a minority stakeholder in the Hornets, implying that he will still have some influence on the organization given the fact that the team has not yet elected a new President.

Jordan’s time as the President of Basketball Operations for the franchise saw little success with the team failing to even win a playoff series. The Goat might be one of the best to ever lace it but he sure failed as an owner.
