Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry over-did a celebration and hence was handed a technical foul by the match officials when the Golden State Warriors clashed against the Minnesota Timberwolves. On this particular instance, the 3-Point King was on the bench cheering for his team. However, he didn’t care much, as the Warriors had already pocketed the game.

This happened when almost half a minute was left in the game, and the score line read 134-114. The defending champions had their second seed of players on the court. Young Donte DiVincenzo scored a classic three-pointer. Seeing this, Stephen Curry got up from his place, all excited, and straight away went under Minnesota’s basket and started calling out the referees. Therefore, the game officials handed him a technical foul for overly celebrating the basket.

He then returned to the bench, sat down, and didn’t seem to care much about it. In the same game, Chef Curry’s teammate and former DPOY Draymond Green was also handed a technical foul as he stepped on the court to celebrate Jordan Poole’s layup. This was the 34-year-old’s third technical foul of this NBA season, and he has paid almost each $2000 fine for the same.

Golden State have won the last seven of their ten games, averaging 118.3 points, while the Mavs have only won three, averaging 105.5 points. It will be a tough challenge for the Mavs to overcome a formidable Warriors team as they have returned to winning ways.
