Mike Brown backed up his players for showing team spirit after a fight between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Sacramento Kings broke out. Kings guard De’Aaron Fox also commented on the situation: “Giannis could’ve just dribbled the ball out. That’s all he had to do. And nothing would’ve happened.” The incident occurred toward the end of the game when Brook Lopez got into it with Trey Lyles after a match that saw him get cut on the top of his eye.

“I don’t know what happened, but we ain’t taking no s*** from nobody,” said Kings coach Mike Brown post-game. Mike Brown believes the group of players he is working with will not stand down when oppressed; they are a playoff team and will take no disrespect. “They all got each other back in there. That doesn’t mean we are going to go out there and start something,” said Mike Brown on the unity amongst his squad.

The brawl started after a player intentionally fouled Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was dribbling out the clock. Even though De’Aaron Fox has blamed Giannis Antetokounmpo, it feels like he was standing up for his teammate. The Sacramento Kings got their three-game win streak broken by the Milwaukee Bucks, which saw them return to the 3rd seed in the Western Conference.

The Greek Freak scored 46 points and snatched 12 rebounds in the Milwaukee Bucks’ win on Monday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo was slated to miss the game with a hand injury but was moved to a game-time decision and eventually started the game. The 2x MVP was on fire from the tip-off scoring 15 points in the first quarter itself. Giannis shot 100% from the three-point line, making both the threes he attempted.

The Milwaukee Bucks strengthened their grip at the top of the East after the Boston Celtics suffered a loss to the Houston Rockets. Since Giannis won the MVP in 2019, he has enjoyed playing against the Sacramento Kings averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds against Sacramento since 2019. The Milwaukee Bucks will be okay with the regular season as they are 2.5 games ahead of the 2nd seed and a lock for the playoffs. By securing the #1 seed, the Bucks will face the 8th-seeded Atlanta Hawks in the playoffs. Milwaukee beat Atlanta in 7 games in the conference Finals in 2021 on their road to the title. Giannis Antetokounmpo will look to get his 2nd NBA title as the Milwaukee Bucks look like the favorites going into the post-season.
