“We don’t give a sh*t” – HC Erik Spoelstra UNAFFECTED by Miami Heat’s underdog status
Erik Spoelstra cares the least about people not picking Miami Heat.
Erik Spoelstra
Erik Spoelstra has successfully coached and led the Miami Heat to the Eastern Conference Finals. Their journey has been a complete rollercoaster and also a shocker to the league. Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat were an average NBA team, which finished the regular season at .537 with 44 wins and 38 losses. And, they barely made it to the playoffs.
As they were a play-in team and not many expected them to have such a deep run, especially when they were facing the Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Milwaukee Bucks in the first round. But Erik Spoelstra and the Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat clowned everyone. As they are just one win away from making it to the 2023 NBA Finals. On their way up they got rid of the Bucks in 5 games, the Knicks in 6 games, and now have a chance to get rid of the Boston Celtics in 5 games. As they failed to sweep them out of contention in Game 4.
But still, Miami Heat isn’t winning hearts out there. And, many around believe they are the underdogs and aren’t picking them to win it all. But Erik Spoelstra cares the least. As before Game 5 when he was questioned about his feelings when people don’t pick the Miami Heat. Erik Spoelstra was very clear with his response as he just doesn’t care about it.
Can Erik Spoelstra and Miami Heat end Boston Celtics’ run with a gentleman sweep?
The Boston Celtics were successful in keeping the run alive for them in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat. Jayson Tatum showed up and soon the Celtics were back to doing what they were supposed to do.
Miami Heat though still just need one dub to end their run. But the road isn’t going to be any easy for the Erik Spoelstra-coached team. As the superstar duo of opponents is back and will play their heart and soul out to be alive in the run.
Also, Miami Heat will be missing out on Gabe Vincent who was playing a key role in the series. But the air still favors them as the game is at TD Garden. And, the Boston Celtics haven’t been a good home team this year. So the chances are good as even Jimmy Butler is balling out. But nothing can be said as the series already has been a complete shocker for everyone. And, fortunately, the game is just some hours away so we won’t have to wait a lot to spectate some great basketball.
