The Los Angeles Lakers have defeated the Memphis Grizzlies to kick them out of the playoffs. LeBron James and his team shone brightly in Game 6, as they annihilated the Grizzlies 125-85. The Lakers are heading to the Western Conference Semifinals and are awaiting a matchup in Round 2 of the playoffs.
The Golden State Warriors will face off against the Sacramento Kings in Game 7 of their series. The team that prevails will face off against the Lakers in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. The Warriors, who had a chance to clinch the series, suffered a defeat to the Kings in Game 6. Stephen Curry and his team flopped, performing awfully in the “golden opportunity” game. What happens in Sacramento in Game 7 will decide who will move onto the Semis to lock horns with LeBron James and co.
D’Angelo Russell shone brightly for the Lakers in their tremendous victory against the Grizzlies. Russell scored 31 points, dished out four assists, and grabbed two rebounds, leading the way for the team. LeBron James followed with 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves combined for 20 rebounds and 27 points as the team outclassed their rivals.
The Lakers, led by LeBron James, who was ridiculed by Memphis Grizzlies’ fans and their “star villain” Dillon Brooks, dominated the game. The entire series was a must-watch for basketball enthusiasts as it included everything: fights, drama, controversies, and much more.
