With Bam Adebayo being out of form, Kyle Lowry takes critical step in potentially being ready for Game 3 vs Celtics

Kyle Lowry of Miami Heat
Kyle Lowry seems to be the only glimmer of hope which could make Heat fight back against resilient Boston Celtics. With the marquee scorer out for last 19 games for his team, he needs to make early return to the court in order to save the season for Miami Heat. On the same note, his status moved to “questionable” as the latest reports suggest the same.
Boston Celtics made strong statement in the series with a commanding win in game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Miami Heat looked helpless at home after long time and no one except Jimmy Butler troubled the visiting team. On the other hand Boston had all their stars delivering in the game, making it difficult for Heat to make any comeback. Bulter is desperately looking for help and Lowry need to step-up early.
Lowry has appeared in five games during the 2022 NBA Playoffs, posting averages of 6.2 points, 5.2 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 28.8 minutes per game.
Can Kyle Lowry be the player, Jimmy Butler could rely on?

Miami Heat had a great run in these particular playoffs winning 8 of their 11 games in the opening 2 playoff series. They won against Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers, sometimes without their influential stars. Though this team’s advances in the postseason are commendable, they are not as impressive as the Celtics. Boston overcame Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks to reach to the finals.

Given there form on either ends of the court, Boston Celtics are riding high on confidence, and their game 2 performance was clear indication of that. Miami Heat might have one of the deepest roasters in the league, yet there is a wife talent-gap, which could prove decisive in the series.
Bam Adebayo and former 6th man of the season Tyler Herro are also important pieces of the team. But defensively strong Celtics managed to stop the free flowing offense. Great team defense from Boston restricted them to just 17-points, combined, which is very worrisome stat for the team.
Keeping in mind the need of time, Kyle Lowry could be very crucial in upcoming games. The 36-year-old guard has Championship experience, and his ball handling skills can also play important role in the series. However being injured since the third quarter of a Game 3 against the Hawks in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs; Lowry suffered a strained left hamstring, after which he hasn’t showed up on-court.

That being said, with the courage this scorer has Lowry somehow made his return in Game 3 against Philadelphia 76ers. But two days after returning, Lowry tweaked his hamstring in Game 4 against the Sixers. Kyle missed total of 7 games and working hard to get back on the court.
Now as per reports, though his status is upgraded, his return is not confirmed by the authorities. Jimmy is averaging 35 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in the conference finals, and will seek some help to make it into the NBA Finals.
