Joe Burrow the 25 years old quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League is all over the internet for his electrifying heroic performance against Kansas City Chiefs during the conference championships. The victory led the Bengals to secure a spot in Super Bowl as they overcame an 18 point deficit and turned the match-up into an overtime victory as the final box score stands as 27-24.
This play and efforts of Joe Burrow where he didn’t give up and went all in and came out as conference champions draws major comparisons by fans around the globe. He is compared to LeBron James the National Basketball Association’s great as even the King showed him some love by sharing his picture on his Instagram story. This is really a special moment for Joe Burrow as he some years ago in an interview mentioned that he can play alongside LeBron James and Chris Paul.
Joe Burrow is already a big name in the National Football League as he lived up to the expectations everyone had around him. But two years ago Joe was also confident in making one even if he shifts his sport to Basketball. The only condition Joe had was having LeBron James or Chris Paul in his team as he believes he is a good shooter and can knock some three’s from the corner.

Joe Burrow has played Basketball during his high school days and his explosiveness and athleticism brings this question in. In 2020 Joe Burrow answering to him making a name in the National Basketball Association quoted: “I could spot up in the corner and get 12 to 15, make a couple threes. You gotta put me on a team with, like, LeBron or Chris Paul or someone and I can just spot up in the corner and let them go to work and kick it to me, though.”
While just explaining what he is good at and what he wants to do he also highlighted his Basketball IQ as he literally drew a play of getting the ball kicked to him at the corner where he stands open while LeBron or Chris Paul make some noise in the paint. Joe Burrow is already a great player as due to all his efforts the Cincinnati Bengals finally have made it to the Super Bowl after 33 years.
Him being on side with players like LeBron James and Chris Paul would have been a different story maybe a three-peat or a bust. Nothing can be said but many things can be imagined. For now, we can enjoy both the sports as the three of them keep dominating.
