The only signing by LeGM (LeBron James) this offseason that has been successful is of Malik Monk as he personally recruited the young guard and now the signing adds up to the value of the veteran roster as Monk steps up whenever needed. The Battle of L.A has been dominant from the side of Los Angeles Clippers as they have won the most match-ups since the hype around the city was created.
Recently, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. The Clippers dominated the LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers for four straight quarters. The game has once been seen close and even the Lakers ran a comeback as Malik Monk and other stars went up hot. But soon the Clippers shut downed everything and won by 21 points. The final box score stands at 132-111 favoring the Clippers. Currently, the Los Angeles Lakers are ranked as the 9th seed in the western conference with the record of 27 wins and 35 losses at .435.
Malik Monk in the game had 12 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds while playing for 29 minutes. LeBron James again stepped up and delivered but the story remains the same as there were no signs of improved chemistry and efforts from the supporting cast of Russell Westbrook and others. In the game, Malik got himself a highlight as he slammed the rim with one of his best dunks so far the season which showcased his frustration and anger.

With 15.9 seconds remaining for the second quarter to end and the game being closely contested. Austin Reaves got the ball tipped off towards him and ran straight towards the rim with Bron and Monk following him. Entering the paint Austin Reaves threw a lob to Malik Monk and catching it down Monk elevated high up and almost tore the rim with a jack-hammer. The crowd was on their toes watching Monk dunk the ball.
