Although LeBron James scored most points, Westbrook got more praise as his clutch 3-pointer was the major reason for the Lakers’ victory.

In this whole season, Westbrook has struggled to score from behind the arc, and no one expected that the nine-time all-star will pull something like this in a crucial situation. This made things special for Westbrook, as through this performance he shut the mouth of many of his critics but many of the fans and analysts still believed that it was just a fluke that Westbrook shot the clutch three-pointer.

The crowds’ response was even noticed by the announcers as they commented, “The fans are almost daring him.” Despite all of this, Russell Westbrook hesitated a few times but still decide to go for the shot and attempted a successful three-pointer.

Westbrook with this successful shot has slammed the critics and his haters who believed that the clutch shot against the Raptors was just a fluke. We all know how much potential Mr. triple-double has but his worst career season has become a prime target for the critics to take digs on him.

But, surely, we saw some of the glimpses of the prime Westbrook against the Raptors as he registered his first triple-double after December 31. There is no doubt that he will become an important key for the Lakers if he improves his consistency, which matters most for the franchisee as they are fighting hard to make their spot in play-in.
