Jaxson Hayes, a 21-year old player for the New Orleans Pelicans has had trouble keeping up with the law and continues to do so. Recently, his ex-girlfriend Sofia Jamora sued him for events that took place in July 2021. Hayes has not had a good record with the law and things have gotten worse on his end.
On Valentine’s Day 2021, Hayes’ behavior got out of hand for the first time, said Jamora. The Instagram model said he traveled with him for an NBA game and stayed with him in a hotel in Dallas. Jamora had apparently joked about the low quantity of flowers in the bedroom to which Jaxson had reacted out of control. Hayes had allegedly cussed her out and hit her with a suitcase. After not being allowed outside the room, scared Jamora hid in the bathroom when Hayes broke the door to cease her phone.

The New Orleans Pelicans forward, who according to Jamora apologized for the incident that took place got violent once again. In her house in Los Angeles, Jamora was with his cousin and two dogs. Jaxson was apparently outside and so was Sofia at a photo shoot. The model had returned to find her pet injured and what looked like a dog bite. Jaxson who was “drugged” woke up to find his dog in crates.
Jaxson Hayes and Jamora fought over the incident which infuriated the player once again and reacted outrageously. In her lawsuit, she claimed that he threatened to make his cousin rape her that night. Hayes got physical with her and the puppy throwing both around the house. Jamora said he chased up and violently grabbed, tossed, and shook her. She somehow managed to get Hayes out of the house as he broke in through the window. She said she reached out to her cousins and the police arrived eventually.

According to TMZ, Sofia Jamora said that Hayes was detained that night after trying to interfere with the police investigation. He had also got into an altercation with the federal officers. Hayes was recently given a no-contest plea for trying to resist arrest and a false imprisonment charge. Jamora decided to file a lawsuit against the player for physical abuse and inducing mental trauma.
The NBA has not spoken about the situation yet. However, Hayes did comment on the situation with regards to the league saying, “The NBA’s a bunch of bull***t. The NBA can really s*** my d***, for all I care. I hope you see this video, by the way, and fine me. But yeah, s**ts just crazy just to me. I work in a f***ing political league that’s all about politics. It is what it is.” Hayes did apologize for his derogatory comments.
