The Atlanta Hawks’ star guard Trae Young exploded at the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night despite Kevin Durant’s exceptional performance. The game was full of turning events as both teams were giving their best to make their place in the top eight seed of the eastern conference and it seems the Hawks have surpassed the Nets when they beat them by 122-115 for their fifth consecutive win.

The Nets were looking in good condition when they overcome a 15-points lead in the last quarter. For them, both Kyrie Irving and KD played an important role to keep the team on track but after not getting much support from other players, the Nets lost their momentum in the final minutes. Although Slim reaper continued his destruction with career-high 55 points, it didn’t demotivate Ice Young as he scored 36 points, to bring victory for Atlanta.

Trae Young has always been considered an overrated baller by many NBA fans, but each time he faces such backlash he never fails to give a reply with his performance to haters. Even in this season, many have doubted his ability to score and lead the team, but as his nickname ‘Ice Young’ the Hawks guard gave a cold and calm reply with his gameplay against the Nets.

Young might have scored 36 points but his last nine points came in the final minute of the game which messed up Durant’s career-high. After the game ended, Young was seen replying to his haters while on his way to the locker room. “That noise is getting quieter, Real quiet,” Young said.
