Charlotte Hornets took the big L not only against the Atlanta Hawks but also against rapper Quavo, who signalled them disrespectful things to which they didn’t really have any possible answer, because honestly, the state they were in was terrible and eventually so was their defeat, as the team lost by a 29-point margin to their rivals who cruised past them without any stress. People in the arena witnessed the destruction of the Charlotte Hornets and LaMelo who had been hyped all year long but seemingly succumbed to the play-ins pressure.
The Hornets were overwhelmed in the play-ins and it showed in the breaking down of the entire team one after the other as even the courtside viewers started disrespecting them.
The Charlotte Hornets crumpled to the pressure put up by the home team who didn’t really have a really impressive regular season, but seemingly took over the first play-ins game after which they will have to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to reach the 8th seed and then get into the playoffs. Quavo, a courtside visitor and a supporter of the home team was all in on his team, even mocking the rivals for them and letting the rivals know that they needed to get out of the arena as they weren’t worthy of being there.
Well, this claim by the rapper couldn’t even be disputed looking at the state in which the Hornets were at that point. They were suffering an absolute defenceless bombardment from the home team and they could do nothing to stop the points, or, Quavo.
Let us take a closer look at the game between the Charlotte Hornets and the Atlanta Hawks where rapper Quavo disrespected the visitors and their star player LaMelo Ball.

The Charlotte Hornets succumbed to the pressure put up by Trae Young led Atlanta Hawks as the home team cruised past their rivals by a 29-point margin, you read that right, 29-point margin in a play-ins game, such was the state of the visitors who were treated very critically and disrespectfully to say the least, by the home crowd. Ball led the effort for the team with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists but wasn’t able to make a lot of difference in order to take his team to the much-needed win to save their entire season.
Even when the Hornets were trying to get back into the game, Quavo was having none of that, and he took direct shots in order to disrespect the rival team and their star player Ball. The Hornets had to face a landslide of points in the 3rd quarter, from where coming back would’ve been very tough, and the home crowd was enjoying the destruction of the Hornets a bit too much. The leader in that sequence of enjoyment was Quavo who felt the need to remind the Hornets of their position. The rapper made the “GTFOH” signal with his hands and roasted LaMelo Ball and the Hornets.
This game resulted in a landslide victory for the Hawks, taking them a step closer to the playoffs, with only the Cleveland Cavaliers being the barrier in between, which they will look forward to break. Despite having a sub-par season, the Hawks will look forward to carry the energy from this game into the next one in order to keep their hopes of getting into the playoffs alive.
