There have been late reports that guard James Harden is discontent with the Brooklyn Nets. As Thursday’s exchange cutoff time approaches, a report Friday said the Philadelphia 76ers might be making a push to land the three-time scoring champion, and Brooklyn is prepared to pay attention to that pitch.
As indicated by the reports, the Nets are available to discussions with respect to Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers are intrigued. There’s a worry that Harden’s playing style probably won’t be the right fit close by Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, which could be a variable in the ability to engage offers.
“There’s expectation that both the 76ers and Nets will engage in dialogue on a deal around Simmons for Harden this week, multiple sources say, with Philadelphia holding a chest of role players in Seth Curry, Tyrese Maxey and Matisse Thybulle that could sweeten a potential package,”– as per Shams Charaina of The Athletic.
Sixers president Daryl Morey has kept up with his position on receiving an All-Star as a trade-off for disappointed guard Ben Simmons and may at long last get his desire.
