Despite triple-double, Skip Bayless vehemently disparages LeBron James in Lakers vs Magic
LeBron James may skip the wrath of anyone but not Skip Bayless. The four-time MVP is a hot target on Skip’s dartboard, and there’s no escaping. Even though he scored an amazing triple-double still Bayless was able to find the needle from the haystack and grumble about it.
The Lakers have been a receiver of constant thrashing this season due to their inconsistent performance. The team which was supposed to be the “top shot” this season with a star-studded roster has been struggling to even get into the top 5 of its respective conferencing Team rankings.
The LA Lakers hosted the Orland Magic at the Staples Centre yesterday. The Lakers dominated the court and it was a relief to see them doing so for the fans. But not for Skip Bayless.

Skip Bayless drags LeBron James
The LA Lakers won their previous match against the Orland Magi by 106-94. And, Lebron James not only gave the Staples’ audience some dunk show but also a moment to reminisce his NBA 2016 Finals’ iconic ‘Chase down’ block only this time it was a 20-year-old R.J. Hampton.
The Undisputed announcer is known for his blunt remarks and once again Skip has shown that he isn’t afraid to say what others avoid. The Lakers are one of the elite teams this season. So, expectations were really high to see a star-packed play on the game but the story has been the opposite of it.
The Lakers are losing against the better teams and are celebrating wins against teams who aren’t even in the title contenders’ race. Some may say a win is a win and let them celebrate it but not Skip Bayless. The 70-year-old columnist took on Twitter to tweet not just one but multiple tweets concerning Lebron James.
First, he tweeted “I love watching LeBron front-run and flex and celebrate dunks against a 5-22 team (without its best player Jalen Suggs). So phony GOAT. Jordan would’ve NEVER.”
Then in another posted he wrote again,
“LOL: LeBron just played all the way to the buzzer against 5-23 Orlando, even jacking up a three (that missed) near the buzzer. Triple double! 30 points! Please, “King.”
Skip has made it pretty clear that he admires Michael Jordan but the constant comparison between MJ and LeBron James upsets fans because they both are great and most important they belong to a different time period. So, trying to intercept two distinct lines may cause some serious trouble for Skip Bayless.
