After winning a WNBA championship, and the finals MVP Kahleah Copper has made her decision to return to the Chicago Sky for another season in the search for another championship.

MVP Kahleah Copper, who is from Philadelphia was drafted by Washington Mystics seventh overall in 2016 before she headed to Chicago in 2017. The former Rutgers player has made some astonishing numbers since she joined the Chicago Sky, she started her journey slow with 6.7 points per game in 2017, now sits being the finals MVP.

Kahleah Copper has helped the Chicago Sky win their first-ever championship, since joining the franchise in 2017. She has topped some incredible scores, she led the scoring charts for her team in the regular season and averaged 14.4 points, which got better in the postseason averaging 17.7 points.

Kahleah Copper has definitely stood up for the Chicago Sky, winning the Finals MVP after capping off an utterly dominating performance in the postseason. The road for Chicago Sky was not child’s play, as they had to win a single-elimination game in the semi-finals with the Connecticut Suns who were the No.1 seed.

In the finals, the Chicago Sky Defeated the Phoenix Mercury 3-1, losing only Game 2 and coming out with a win in the next 2 games to seal the Championship. In all the four finals games Kahleah Copper managed to score in double-digits.

Kahleah Copper has been spending her time in Euro League after the postseason and has set the league on fire, with many 30+ points performance in many games with the Perfumerias Avenida, she has already been considered as the most consistent player in the league. Needless to say, she will be returning to the Chicago Sky to deliver another MVP performance for the Chicago Sky and help them to another WNBA championship.

Copper has got a story published with the Players Tribune where she said, “Chicago — y’all ready for another run at this thing?”  the next day she was selected in the WNBA All-star, but marginally missing out on the defensive team of the year. The only question that remains to be asked is, how serious should the Chicago Sky take this?. She said, “I was saying [in the Players Tribune] for real, let’s run it back. Free agency and all of that, I gotta go through, get through that”.
