“That’s all the Lakers can be proud of” NBA fans take a dig at Frank Vogel’s bench after seen going bonkers on Dwight Howards’ 3-pointer

The reason for Los Angeles Lakers’ struggle in this season is often landed on the coaching of Frank Vogel because most NBA fans and sports analyst believes that it’s Frank Vogel who should be put at fault as he is unable to decide a simple roaster. His strategies of making roaster have caused the Lakers this whole NBA season and now fans are going berserk on Twitter when the Lakers lost to Jazz on Thursday night.

The game was full of unbelievable things from its start, Dwight Howard in the first quarter shot a three-pointer that actually went in. It was his first 3-pointer from behind the arc this year and the first 3-pointer after 10th December 2021 which came against the Memphis Grizzlies. It was totally unusual for Howard to attempt a shot from behind the line and so early in the game.

We all know that Dwight Howard lacks shooting skill and his whole game mostly focuses on the layups, dunks, and alley lops. But this time when he scored three it looked like a desperate point, as the big scores of the Lakers franchise are unavailable in the game. The Lakers were against the Jazz without LeBron James (ankle sprain) and Anthony Davis (foot sprain) which pretty much explains why Howard was taking more attempts to score.

Because of this situation, the coaching of Frank Vogel is highly questioned as his roasted teams are unable to bring victory for the franchise. This was even questioned by Russell Westbrook who stated that he doesn’t know with whom will he play the next game with.

In the postgame conference Westbrook said, “For me, personally, it’s a big adjustment. You don’t know who’s playing and who’s out. Who’s starting and who’s not. Something I’m not accustomed to. But like I said, I make no excuses. I own whatever it is, play whoever is playing and try to make the best out of it.”

Moreover, raising questions in the media about ineffective roasters won’t affect their performance in the game and if the Lakers really want to improve and qualify for the play-in tournament, Coach Frank Vogel has to bring some great line-up and strategies which might help them to qualify and run deep into the playoffs unlike today when they faced a humiliating defeat by 109-122 against the Utah Jazz
