“That’s Love”- Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young reacts to receiving a Vote in New York City’s Mayoral Election

It is very startling to see Atlanta hawks’ Trae Young receiving a vote from someone that lives in New York because after last season’s playoff’s the chances of him being loved by any New Yorker skimmed next to almost nothing.

Rayford Trae Young he goes by Trae Young in the NBA league was drafted in 2018 round 1 pick 5 by the Dallas Mavericks.  The Atlanta Hawks decided to exchange trade Luka Doncic that they picked during the 2018 draft with Trae Young as appoint guard.

The Mavericks happily obliged. But some were skeptical. They thought that the Hawks went crazy and this exchange trade will rue them. Well, it has been three years and the only thing that the Hawks are seeing is watching Trae blossom into a fine player.

Young is averaging 26.3 points per game more than some of his veterans. He is undoubtedly one of the most distinguished amongst his fellow draftees.

Trae Young’s fandom in New York is something that NBA fans can’t imagine not after how he in cold-blood just eliminated the New York Knicks during the playoffs last season.

The Atlanta Hawks and the Knicks engaged in a series of 5 matches, and the Hawks literally blasted them off eradication their hopes of reaching the conference finals. But the final blow came with game 5 where the Hawks mercilessly defeated the Knicks in the game by 103-89 and it left the Knicks in ruins.  That game burned all the bridges between Hawks and the New York.

The loss was so much that even New York’s  Mayor  Bill de Blasio showed his frustration with Trae young’s consecutive foul picking and not playing the game right in a press conference.

Now imagine what it would have been like when Trae Young wakes up to find a vote for himself at the New York’s Mayoral Elections after being a recipient of such animosity by the same city. But Trae Young took it sportingly. He loved it. He tweeted, “That’s Love NY for real..Never got a mayor vote !”

The NBA Twitter is cracking up with this news in laughter.
