Jusuf Nurkic took a big L as he suffered an injury which will take him out of contention for at least a month, as he injures his left foot, resulting in a long-term injury. The problem to NBA twitter doesn’t seem to be Nurkic’s injury, but instead his actions of mocking LeBron James after the latter suffered a hard foul in the Lakers’ match against the Portland Trailblazers back in November of 2018. James who isn’t often known for having enemies, definitely made an arch rival that night when he was mocked by Nurkic for an illegitimate reason, thus making Nurkic’s injury seem like a befitting reply from karma.
LeBron James and Jusuf Nurkic isn’t the most ideal rivalry that you would expect to see in the NBA but it does exist. After Jusuf Nurkic mocked LeBron James for just reacting to a hard fall that he suffered in their match, people started riling up the news of a rivalry between both the players which did get a lot of attention at that point, and a similar pattern is being observed again as Jusuf is now out for a long duration with an injury to his left leg.
In what seems like a pretty hard reply from karma, Nurkic’s injury isn’t something that should be celebrated, but instead an occasion to learn the lesson of not hitting people when they’re at the lowest moments in their life. Though LeBron James didn’t suffer any major injury in that particular sequence, Nurkic did mock him and seemingly called him a “cry baby” for a legitimate reaction and that is what got back a bit too hard to him due in the form of a major long-term injury.
Let us now take a closer look at Nurkic’s injury and its relation to him mocking LeBron James in the November of 2018 which people feel is the result of karma.

Jusuf Nurkic is the living example of tit for tat as he suffered an injury to his left leg which will result in him being out for quite a long duration as the Trailblazers take another L which comes after CJ McCollum was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Portland Trailblazers who have already been struggling this season with their marquee player Damian Lillard being out due to injury which might keep him out for the rest of this season as well, their sharp shooter CJ McCollum being transferred to the Pelicans and now their big man Jusuf Nurkic being injured and out for a long duration, seem to be taking Ls after Ls as they stand at the 10th position in the Western Conference.
News came out that Jusuf Nurkic had suffered a serious injury on his left foot which would take him out for at least a month, resulting in a long-term injury, and fans didn’t hold back in thrashing the player for mocking LeBron James at one point in November of 2018. LeBron who suffered a hard fall in the Lakers’ match against the Portland Trailblazers was mocked by Nurkic as he showed the expression of a “crying baby” in reaction to James’ fall and ignited a rivalry with the player.
Nurkic suffered the impact of karma as the fans call it, and probably was at the receiving end of the crying baby expressions this time after doing the same to LeBron James back then.
