LeBron James
LeBron James has been totally insane this season, he has become the pillar who is holding all the weights of the Lakers on his shoulder. He is averaging 29.1 PPG, 7.7 RPG, and 6.3 APG even at the age of 37. While currently, he is not playing due to injury and the Lakers are not able to grab the win as they have lost 4 out of 5 games in the past weeks.
Meanwhile, when LeBron James was ruled out due to a knee injury after the game against the Nets, Anthony Davis was already back to the Lakers campaign, and everyone thought that AD might handle the team even when James is out. But the things didn’t go according to the Lakers and this proves how important is King James for them since he joined in 2018.

Why the LA Lakers are now totally dependent on LeBron James?
LeBron James signed a contract of 4-year with the Lakers in 2018 and since then he has brought the team back into the business. James even averaged 26.5 PPG, 8.4 APG, and 7.9 RPG in those 203 games. His domination and how the Lakers are dependent on him can be clearly seen because according to SportsCenter on Twitter, “Only three teams in the NBA have had a higher win percentage during that span.”

Will LeBron James be able to surpass Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone?
If LeBron James continues his dominance in the upcoming seasons, it is sure that he will become the all-time leading scorer while surpassing legendary players like Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul Jabbar (38,387) who are currently the top two leading scorers in the NBA history and it totally dependents on how long does he decides to play in the NBA.
Moreover, it is obvious that he will make records, but what is most important currently is his comeback to the team for the league games as his absence has made the Lakers struggle and brought them down to the 9th seed in the western conference while it is expected that he will soon rejoin the campaign as he is in rehab after his knee swelling.
