Counting his teammates out from it as he is their locker room star, Luka Doncic then tops the list. Jimmy feels he really is a unique player since in an interview last season Jimmy when questioned about Luka quoted: “He’s tough. And super fun to watch. He does everything so well…Sneaky athletic too…he goes in the pay to watch category.”
Jimmy and Luka already share a relationship of respect between them but recently some recruiting process was spotted between the two. The Miami Heat hosted the Dallas Mavericks at FTX Arena and after a closely contested and head-to-head match-up, the game favored the Mavs. As the final box score stands at 99-107. Currently, the Miami Heat are ranked as the first seed in the eastern conference with the record of 37 wins and 21 losses at .638. On the other hand, the Dallas Mavericks are ranked as the fifth seed in the western conference with the record of 34 wins and 24 losses at .586.
Amid the game, an exchange between Jimmy Butler and Luka Doncic was noted and the clip of it is viral on the internet. As many believe it was pure recruitment by Jimmy for getting Luka at the Heat Nation as even Kyle Lowry joined the huddle showcasing his under-the-rim skills. Both the players were happy with the exchange but Erik Spoelstra looked worried as the game was getting tough. But many fans believe Coach Spoelstra was busy thinking about who to trade to acquire Luka on board.
