The Miami Heat has been one of the most exciting young teams in the league to watch. They have been very well balanced with their scoring and defending. Jimmy Butler and the rest of the team are a matchup that could potentially end other teams’ chances of winning the title this season.
The last time the Miami Heat reached the finals, the team had many moments which had us thinking they would dethrone the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite all the efforts put in by Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and their surrounding cast members, the Lakers somehow managed to get the upper hand.

During the second quarter when the Miami Heat had a good lead against the Dallas Mavericks, on transition Kyle Lowry had lobbed the ball to Bam Adebayo had taken the opportunity to get fancy with the dunk. The lob connected with Adebayo only to bounce off his own shoulder and out of the basketball. The officials had not counted the basket despite it going past the rim.
As hilarious as this play may seem, the Miami Heat mean serious business and are waiting to prove to the world that they are better than all the other teams. The roster did suffer a few setbacks earlier on in the season losing both its core members in Butler and Adebayo. They are currently the best team in the Eastern Conference with a record of 37 wins and 21 losses.
The Heat’s five-game winning streak was snapped after the Mavericks won the game 107-99. Jimmy Butler had a great game after finishing with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists going 8-18 from the field. Bam Adebayo also had a decent scoring game with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists.
As a team, they have been averaging 108.9 points per game this season shooting 46.1% from the field, 37.5% from three, and 81.5% from the free-throw line. They rank fifth in the league in points allowed with an average of 104.4 points per game.
