The Los Angeles Lakers recently summoned Mac McClung to their squad, making him one of the most electrifying additions to the team which needs almost an entire change according to many people. The Lakers who were already out of play-ins contention after their terrible loss to the Phoenix Suns made quite a few additions to their team, which now also includes young players like McClung in addition to the veteran talents in James, Westbrook, Davis, Howard, Anthony etc.
The team might have been thrown out of the playoffs this season, but it seems as if they are hoping to start the next season on a positive note in order to take them to their goal of getting the Championship.
The Los Angeles Lakers had a terrible season this year, from start to end, it was a complete disaster, despite the presence of big names like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, in addition to whom Russell Westbrook was also added, to help them have an easier path to the title, but eventually, it seemed as if the squad started crumbling down under pressure of the league, they lost matches one after the other, and were already done with the hopes of getting the championship from the beginning of the season itself.
The team is expected to make a lot many changes to their squad from the beginning of the next season but they have already started that process right before the 2022 postseason.
Rumors came out that the Lakers might be signing Mac McClung in a 2-way contract with the South Bay Lakers after cutting Trevor Ariza and giving Wenyen Gabriel a two year contract. The Lakers’ intention to bring changes to their squad didn’t really take a lot of time in becoming a reality, the team which was expected to make changes before the beginning of the next season began the process right before the conclusion of this season itself.
Shams Charania reported the news which was soon confirmed by MacClung himself who thanked hard work and god for the good things happening to him. MacClung’s addition to the squad did give them a happy ending, if not anything else.
MacClung ended the Lakers’ season with a massive reverse dunk against the Denver Nuggets, hyping the entire squad up. Let us take a closer look at this sequence where the crowd was on its feet and the rivals were disappointed as Mac McClung did what he was supposed to do.

The Lakers might not really have had a great season, but the team definitely had a positive ending as their latest addition, Mac McClung landed one of the most electrifying dunks for the team at the very end moment of their last game of this season. The team which was already thrown out of play-ins contention can at least take a positive ending with themselves if they cant get their hands at the title. In the Lakers’ game against the Denver Nuggets, Mac McClung brought the crowd at its feet with a massive reverse dunk.

At the very end moments of the game between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers, the latter had a lead of 3-points to their name, post which Lakers had the possession of the ball. After getting a quick pass from Stanley Johnson, Mac McClung rushed towards the rim at the other corner and took flight, ending with a loud reverse dunk as Lakers ended their season hyped up for the next one. There wasn’t much to take away for the team, but they will definitely enter the next season with a positive outlook and the same hype that they ended their season with.
