“The whole Frank Vogel-LA Lakers situation is frightening… It’s so cringe!” Draymond Green delivers blunt take on Lakers scapegoating their Head Coach

Draymond Green and Frank Vogel
Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Greens open ups on what he feels about the whole Lakers head coach Frank Vogel episode, where he pointed out some serious concerns for the sporting world.
We all know how devasting season it was for the Lakers but instead of learning from this hard time the franchise decided to blame one or two people for the bad season. The person who’s mostly blamed is head Coach Frank Vogel as many pointed out on his strategies and ineffective roasters in this season but basketball is a team game and stating him responsible for the whole thing seems completely wrong.

Even though the Lakers management made up their mind to discontinue their engagement with the coach the way they handled the situation has got a lot of criticism. On Sunday when the LA-based franchise won their last game of the season, it was reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Coach Vogel has coached his final game. But when the media asked Frank about getting fired from the job, he said he doesn’t know sh*t about it.

This shows how unprofessionally the Lakers front office managed it and faced a lot of embarrassment. Moreover, this whole incident has also veiled off, the image of the Lakers as a family and showed the world that they are just running a pure business.

Warriors star Draymond Green reveals why this whole Lakers episode is a ‘cringe’

The same thing was discussed by Draymond Green in his latest podcast on ‘The Volume.’ Where he explained why this whole incident is a ‘cringe’ in the sports world and why it is common in all courses of sports.

“As a basketball fan, or as a basketball player, if you’re looking at the situation with the Los Angeles Lakers, you end up with so many questions,” Draymond Green said. “I think the way that it’s turned out now […] as a player or coach, you see that it’s a bit frightening… You then put yourself in those shoes and you’re like, ‘Will I be treated like that?’ And it’s not just the Los Angeles Lakers. I think that happens all over the course of sports.”
