The All-Star games came with a bunch of surprises and shocked the world with the different levels of intensity it brought during each event, except for the dunk contest… But all jokes aside, it was more than just exciting watching players of past decades and eras stand next to each other as the young guns take pride while introducing them. As savage as LeBron James’ stare-down dunk was with Michael Jordan on the sidelines, it was wholesome seeing the two hug it out.
During the game, we watched a player rip through all the hate he received mainly due to the history that exists between the city of Cleveland and himself. Stephen Curry showed out nearly shattering the All-Star game scoring record while making 16 three-pointers during the game. We had a bunch of first-time All-Stars which included Andrew Wiggins who coincidentally landed a spot among the starters.
LeBron James had a night of his own after winning yet another All-Star game ever since the change in rules. He had a couple of monstrous dunks and seemed extremely having to share a court with his peers.
Team LeBron vs Team Durant Game Recap
Kevin Durant missed his second All-Star game as a captain as his team was upset by the opposition once again. Team LeBron was all in high spirits after being the first to reach the score of 163 (Team Durant:160). Curry balled out after scoring 50 points shooting 17-30 from the field that included 16 threes. These 16 made three-pointers would have been a reminder to the fans that he was very capable of breaking the all-time record the first time he had a chance.
LeBron James had 24 points along with 6 rebounds and 8 assists as he also had the honors of sinking the game-winner. Giannis Antetokounmpo had an impressive 30 points and 12 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins who started his first All-Star game had a decent night with 10 points for Team Durant. Joel Embiid led the team with 36 points and 10 rebounds, backed by Devin Booker’s 20 points and a 10 assist piece by Trae Young.

The All-Star games are all about fun and entertaining the fans. LeBron James seemed very ecstatic over his fifth win as an All-Star team captain. He said, “They call me Money Mayweather of the All-Star games.” Not to be instigating drama but was this an attack towards Floyd Mayweather himself?
A couple of days ago, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather commented on LeBron James’ career saying that the NBA veteran is done. He went on to compare his resume with the Los Angeles Laker and other great athletes. At the end of the day, LeBron has earned his name as one of the greatest players ever, especially among the ones who know how the sport works.
