Skip Bayless doesn’t seem to be stopping with his series of gruesome jibes targeted towards Russell Westbrook, as Bayless took shots at Westbrook again, for having a bad performance in the Lakers’ match against the Bucks which they lost by a 15-point margin even after a substantial effort from their ace players, LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Skip Bayless has argued against the presence of Russell Westbrook in the Lakers team throughout the season, attacking him with spiteful comments and bad stats that Westbrook had all along the season except for a few matches, also calling him “Wesbrick” for his inconsistent shooting form, and not showing up when the team needed him the most.
The saga of Bayless’s harsh comments doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon as he was back in form today on twitter, calling out Westbrook for his bad performance, and his supposed effort of trying to console the other two players from the Lakers’ Big Three, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who at this point, seem to be carrying the entire burden of their team on their shoulders.

Even the Lakers’ coach Frank Vogel acknowledged their importance in the team stating that anything could go in favour of them as long as LeBron and AD showed up, while not specifically including Russell Westbrook along with the other two.

After their tough loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Anthony Davis and LeBron James seemed tired and devastated on the bench, which is the time when Westbrook did something, which gave Skip Bayless the opportunity to target him again for what seems to be his lack of effort and his “burden” nature according to Bayless.
Through a tweet via his account, Bayless took big shots at Lakers’ Russel Westbrook telling him that he had no right to console LeBron James and Anthony Davis after their loss to the Bucks, as they were inconsolable and there was no way in which he could cheer them up, the reason being Westbrook himself as they were burdened by Westbrook playing alongside them and as long as the status quo exists, and as long as they’re “stuck” playing with Westbrook, they can’t be happy.

With what seems to be Bayless’ targeted series of harsh attacks on Westbrook, his inconsistency, his shooting and his overall performance, it doesn’t feel like it will be stopping any time soon and the Lakers according to Bayless, must take stringent actions against the player in order to move forward, the chances of which seem narrow at this point.

The Lakers seem to be in shambles after their performance against the Milwaukee Bucks which cost them victory, which wasn’t any different throughout this season, further worsening their record to 26-29, having lost 7 out of their last 10 matches, which in no way is what they would’ve expected.
LeBron James led the way for the Lakers, scoring 27 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds in the 35 minutes that he played, followed by Anthony Davis who scored 22 points, 4 assists and 9 rebounds and Malik Monk who scored 20 points, despite which, the Lakers fell short in their quest to win against the Bucks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Milwaukee Bucks scoring a whopping number of 44 points, 8 assists and 14 rebounds, just falling short of a triple-double, following whom Bobby Portis
scored 23 points, and Khris Middleton scored 21 points in a dominant effort from the entire team, being led by Giannis.
Reacting to Giannis’ performance, fellow teammate Khris Middleton said,“He made it look easy, honestly. That just shows the level of how he’s playing. Just the way he let the game come to him and stay patient, it was pretty fun to watch.” Even Giannis added to it, saying, “Obviously when you make shots, the game is a lot easier, looks a lot better, I know I’m going to try to get my teammates involved and look for the best way to help the team…”
