“This ain’t my motherfu****g team” LeBron James gets utterly frustrated as Lakers embarrass themselves against Raptors

LeBron James

With the Los Angeles Lakers having one of their worst seasons in modern-day NBA, LeBron James seems to be the only player who is fighting off opponents to help the purple and gold army reach the business end. However, with top-team remaining to be fought against, the Lakers have been exploited and exposed one after the other, game after game. Their most recent encounter against the Toronto Raptors just emphasized upon the same.

To those who are not aware, the Toronto Raptors have won 6-consecutive games against the Lakers at their home. Entering this encounter, the Eastern Conference giants were well aware how they need to perform since the opening quarter against LeBron James’ army, if they are to stretch their gap against Brooklyn Nets. In the opening quarter itself, the Toronto Raptors stretched their lead to 19-2, just like the previous game against the Phoenix Suns, the Lakers entered the contest with their head slaid low, something which LeBron James could not digest.

When the Lakers took the required time out, King James could be seen sitting on the side-lines being angry with his entire squad.

On one hand, where Fred VanVleet, Scottie Barnes and Trent Jr have literally slammed the Lakers. The home team have not been able to compose themselves to find a way back as their defensive vulnerabilities have been on display.

With the New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers being 2-3 wins behind them, a significant losing streak could very well see LeBron James not making the playoffs for the first time in his healthy career.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis

Certainly, with Anthony Davis out, LeBron James can’t find the required support with bunch of veterans and young players, being at his disposal. Will the Toronto Raptors go onto embarrass the Lakers, in the same way as the Phoenix Suns? Remains to be seen.
