Tom Brady and Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry was on the verge of surpassing Ray Allen tonight in the all-time 3-point record in today’s Warriors vs Knicks showdown. Without masting much time, in the first quarter itself, the marquee 33-years-old went on to achieve the feat, which made the home fans at Madison Square Garden, including Spike Lee, bow down in front of the scoring prowess of Curry. The latest to add to that list is Buccaneer’s quarterback, the legendary Tom Brady.
When any sportsperson receives the acknowledgment from the G.O.A.T of American Football, there shall be no explanation as to justify why they are one of the best ever witnessed in the sport, such as the case of Stephen Curry. Moreover, Curry did not stop after breaking Allen’s record and went on to lead the team by scoring team high 22 points, which was the Golden State Warriors’ 23rd of the season.
Tom Brady hails Stephen Curry for 3-point feat

Those who missed the moment, Curry knocked the epic record-breaking 3-pointer with his usual step-back and shoot style. And pumped his chest while making his way back to his end.
Athletes from all walks of the sports world chimed in on the amazing feat. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady took to Twitter to congratulate Stephen Curry, saying “What an accomplishment.” That is a message from one GOAT to another.

Having said that, Stephen Curry is having one of his best seasons, averaging 27 points, just under six rebounds, a little over six assists, and almost two steals per game. He is already the only player ever to hit 400 3-pointers in a single season. He is on pace for 440 this season, which would break his own record. Lastly, with 500 games less taken by Steph to achieve this record, the question remains how much can Curry extend this record to a place where the younger generation finds it more challenging to break.
