NBA Trade Rumors: LaMelo Ball to Chicago Bulls?
The Ball family has produced nothing but exception talent that has embraced the NBA in the recent years. Be it Lonzo Ball being the top pick in the drafts in 2017. Now 3 years later, it is his younger brother LaMelo Ball facing the same fate in the upcoming NBA drafts. The latter has been the top priority of major teams, now even Chicago Bulls have added themself to this elite list.
Bulls have particularly not been able to do well in the last 3-4 seasons. Having not only missed the playoffs, but also not been able to play according to their rich heritage. They would want to make some significant chances in order to get back in playoff contention in the playoffs.
Playing just 12 games in the NBL, LaMelo averaged 17 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game. Also, declared as the MVP looks like he might be the man that brings back the Bull into contention.
Could the Chicago Bulls trade up to acquire LaMelo Ball?
Shockingly the Bulls have not the NBA Championship since the 90’s. Majorly because of the lack of game changing superstars in the roasters. No one has been a particular stand out among their roaster. Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine have given the Bulls a ray of hope, but they still require a starting guard to lead them.
“I’ve heard the Bulls are fans of LaMelo,” Givony said on the Lowe Post with ESPN’s Zach Lowe.
“They do have some really good pieces in place. I’m hearing that they like Lauri Markkanen a lot more right now than Wendell Carter Jr. That he’s more of an untouchable.”
As far as the youngster, LaMelo Ball is concerned, the young star has made his way up to a lot of top teams. Which includes the Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks.
