NBA Trade Rumors: Philadelphia 76ers to be involved in James Harden trade?

James Harden

James Harden averaged 39.5 points per game in the 2019-20 season

Ever since the playoff run for Houston Rockets ended last season, the franchise seemed to be going in the wrong directions. With their marquee duo of James Harden and Russell Westbrook demanding a trade. The Rockets have not only made significant changes in their front offices but left many of their players unsatisfied with the franchise. Specially Harden who seems to have had enough with Houston.

Recently ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith reported that the Rockets are looking to work on a three way because they recognize that the Nets don’t have enough to give them. A 3-Way between Brooklyn NetsHouston Rockets and the Philadelphia 76ers starring James Harden is possible.

The 76ers know that both Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons simply don’t fit. Their roster is filled with players that just don’t fit. They have overpaid players with big contracts. This trade can put them in a better path by letting go of Simmons, Harris and Horford while acquiring younger players.

Houston Rockets receive Al Horford, Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons and draft picks

The Rockets are in no hurry of letting go of Harden. But when a deal like this comes, they may have to concede.

The Houston Rockets will be more than happy in this deal. They will get a young superstar in Ben Simmons. Simmons is an amazing defender and can also handle the ball. He can be a player whom Rockets can build around.

Brooklyn Nets receive James Harden.

The Nets already have a big two in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Adding James Harden to that will be win-now move for them.

This 3-way trade could be a win-win situation for every team.
