Bobby Portis has been one of the formidable pillars for Milwaukee Bucks in the past few months. With marquee players still not available for the defending champions, the marquee Center has made his presence feel on the offensive as well as on the defensive end. But during the Bucks vs Nets showdown, tables turned significantly on the 26-years-old as he was trolled by entire Nets bench and fans on Twitter as well.

With the Bucks vs Nets game starting, Bobby Portis started in fine-fashion, managing to register 10 points within the first 10 minutes of the game. Not only that, Portis was able to trigger Kevin Durant on several offensive plays as well, able to get the foul call. But given his nature, Portis got too excited when he saw the chance of getting a huge reaction from the away crowd at the Barclays Center.

In the first quarter itself, James Harden was leading the attack for the home team when he turned it over, right into the hands of the Bucks’ defense, Bobby Portis being the furthest man up front got the ball with a lot of time and space to score an easy dunk. But it didn’t turn out to be the way Milwaukee Bucks and Portis expected it to be. 

Bobby Portis decided to hit the rim hard and as a result of which, the ball came right out, making the entire Brooklyn Nets bench jump out of relief and evidently verbal to the player. Who ironically, drained a tough jumper couple of plays before, to only start the verbal banter with the Nets bench. 

Having said that, Portis has made a good start into the Eastern Conference semi-final recap showdown. Given that his ability on both the ends of the court will be key for the away team, it seems like Portis has to channelise his energy in the best way. And surely make sure that he does not miss easy points like this in the quarters to come.
