Even to this day, a ticket from his debut match is sold at an auction for $ 468,000.

Every Great player was once an unbothered rookie, and once when he made his debut for the Chicago Bulls in the old Chicago Stadium, no one thought that this kid would take the NBA to a global level with him being at the helm of it. Michael Cole who has been a lifelong Chicago Bulls fan had purchased the tickets dating back to the date when Michael Jordan made his debut for the Bulls at a price of just $8.50 in 1984, with no idea he would be getting a huge surprise later on in form of monetary value.

In the Heritage Auctions, one of the unused tickets was sold for a price of $468,000, Cole had purchased 2 tickets when he was at Northwestern University, and he went alone for the game. He had one ticket remaining from that day in which Michael Jordan first saw the big stage. The Auction had checked on the unused tickets and have confirmed the ticket to be an original one and kept in mint condition, another thing is that it is one of kind ticket because that is the only complete recognized ticket left in the world for which Michael Jordan had first played in the Bulls jersey.

The ticket bought by Cole is now the second most expensive according to Heritage Auctions. The number 1 spot is held by the Brooklyn Dodgers owners for the debut match of Jackie Robinson in 1947, the value for which is $480,000.
