In the previous decade, Vanessa Bryant and Kobe were known as the cutest couple, NBA fans had ever seen. Not only were the couple a source of inspiration with their deeds off the court, but were spotted spending some quality time together in Hollywood time and again. But the demise of the most loved player in the league, sent shock waves all around the world. Even then, Vanessa was courageous enough to look after her daughters. But now on Valentine’s Day, it seems like she missed her late husband a little too much. 

Being the third Valentine’s Day that Vanessa Bryant is spending without Kobe, on Monday morning she went onto post a heartfelt message for him.

How did Vanessa Bryant recall husband Kobe on VD? 

Safe to say, what a heartfelt gesture by Vanessa, who seems to hold her whims as strongly as possible every time she mentions Kobe. Lakers fans and basketball lovers, in general, miss Kobe Bryant every single day. He’s truly one of the greats of the game and it’s an absolute tragedy he was taken so soon.

Vanessa and Kobe had been married for 19 years before his passing and have four girls together. One of whom, Gianna sadly died in the crash with her father. On Super Bowl Sunday, Vanessa Bryant honored her late husband in a beautiful NFL Films commercial in front of the Lakers great’s mural in Los Angeles. 

On one hand, where Vanessa seems to be missing her husband a little too much, Kobe would surely be looking down upon his family with utmost love, admiration and respect. With the Lakers’ physically not being among us, his Mamba Mentality and iconic moments will always be one to discuss. Obviously, not just in Los Angeles or NBA, but all over the world.

That being said, with Super Bowl LVI’s bonanza keeping everyone busy on Valentine’s Day, it was a delight to see Kobe’s LA finally register the championship against his name. Will the Lakers be able to replicate the near impossible this season? Surely, they need the best of Mamba Mentality to rise from the lower ranks.
