The Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets game was full of drama has the Sixers fans came to boo their former player Ben Simmons but ended up, booing their own team for losing the game against the Nets by 100-129 at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night This was the first matchup between the two teams since their blockbuster deal back on Feb. 10, where the Sixers traded Ben Simmons for James Harden.
The Nets versus Sixers game was long-awaited by the NBA fans as the trade deal between them went through a lot of controversies. So, the matchup was hyped as hell, the crowd wanted to see some interesting and aggressive game while the players also delivered it. We saw some exchange of words between KD and Joel Embiid and later the way game escalated actually made things more interesting.

Fans heckled Ben Simmons outside of Nets’ hotel before showdown against Sixers
Although the Nets won the game, the thing which made more headlines was the booing by the fans for Bens Simmons on the night. Simmons was not only jeered in the stadium but he faced the backlash from the start of the day when he was on his way to the Nets team bus.
Meanwhile, it was expected that Simmons will face some heavy pressure from the Philly crowd but in a viral video, it was clearly seen how the fans heckled him during his route from the hotel. Till now he is yet to respond but his teammate Kyrie Irving didn’t hesitate to respond on the treatment to Ben Simmons
Kyrie Irving during the postgame interview said, “So when we played tonight, we definitely felt like Ben was on our heart. You could see it, he was wearing it, and we just wanted to go out there and play for him and play well. If you come at Ben, you come at us. You come at anyone else on our team, you come at all of us, and that’s the mentality.”
Moreover, Ben Simmons is yet to make his debut for the Nets but it’s expected that he will soon join the roaster. This will be a very important debut as the Nets were struggling after many star players were ruled out due to injury. As the players are coming back to team it is predicted that the Nets are going to become a new destructive force in the east.
