Patrick Beverley ejected from Bucks vs Timberwolves

With the Minnesota Timberwolves acquiring Patrick Beverley during the 2021-22 season, many expected the veteran guard to change his approach of physical play, while coaching a younger bread of hoop stars. Having already helped the Timberwolves register an emphatic win over the Lakers, Bev was surely in his best mood to mock arch-rival Westbrook. But his latest game, against the Milwaukee Bucks, has only got off sent off from the match in the first quarter, due to the same attitude.

To those who are not aware, during Karl Anthony Towns free-throw attempts in the dying minutes of the first quarter. Serge Ibaka and Taurean Prince could be seen shoving each other on the side, with the latter’s hand on the neck of the veteran, he reciprocated by getting himself on one side. Just when the matter seemed quiet, Patrick Beverley came running in to shove the opposition player and eventually the referee as well.

Fans troll Patrick Beverley after he unapologetically gets himself ejected from Bucks vs Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves were coming into this contest on the backs of a 3-game winning streak. While the Giannis Antetokounmpo less-Bucks registered a 2-game winning streak in this contest. Given that Patrick Beverley’s defensive ability was a compulsion for the home team, especially in the clutch, he surely got his head hot unnecessarily. Which was even pointed out by some fabs.

After Patrick Beverley’s shove on Ibaka, the latter did not hold back and rushed to take his revenge. But was stopped by his team and the officials. However, after a thorough review, Patrick Beverley and George Hill were ejected from the game. On one hand, where Bev was an important starter for the home team, the Bucks have already played 17 games without Hill and are in a good shape with or without him.

Lastly, Serge Ibaka was handed out a technical foul for shoving Patrick Beverley. Yet with KAT in the game, the Bucks would be requiring the services of Ibaka to stop the former’s wrath on the defensive end.
