“We got an a** whopping”: Zach LaVine makes honest admission after blowout loss against Nets
Zach LaVine, James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant
Zach LaVine is finally getting the correct recognition which he deserved from years as this off-season the Chicago Bulls finally built around him and acquired players like DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. The Chicago Bulls this season started their run with the new old vibes of 1990’s as they were winning it all and looked like the best team in the east. The Chicago Bulls struggled for past some years since the departure of stars like Derrick Rose and then had no all stars rather than Zach LaVine but the squad now looks good and challenging which can win over any team in the east.
The Chicago Bulls are currently leading the eastern conference of the league with the best record in the east of 27 wins and 12 losses and have won eight of their last ten match-ups. Recently the Brooklyn Nets were hosted at United Center by Chicago Bulls and the results didn’t really age well for the Bulls as it was a blow out loss for Zach LaVine and the squad. The Brooklyn Nets after leading the eastern conference ranking the most of the time are currently trailing behind one spot with the record of 26 wins and 14 losses and have won 5 of their last ten match-ups.
The Chicago Bulls first lost their forward Derrick Jones Jr. early in the game and already had Alex Caruso out. The other stars Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball gave their all they could but just failed to deliver in front of the Brooklyn Nets big 3 Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. In the post game the stars looked unhappy with the level they played on which eventually sold the game for them. The Bulls even after the loss just have to come back on track and then there aren’t many teams in the league who can stop them when healthy and committed.

Zach LaVine on blowout loss against the Brooklyn Nets
The battle of East is really between the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets as they both are standing on the top and delivering the most they can with no such difficulties in the line-ups or team chemistry. So far this season the Chicago Bulls has faced the Brooklyn Nets a total of three times and stepped over them almost every time except for their recent match up which turned out to be a blowout loss.
Zach LaVine in the post game came out with honest admission of the loss against the Nets as he quoted: “We got an ass-whooping, It happens sometimes. The third quarter killed us. Go back look at the film. It’s just something to get you a little more hungry.” He wasn’t wrong at all as the third quarter really killed the Bulls and signed the win deal for the Brooklyn Nets. The Brooklyn Nets outscored the Chicago Bulls by 39-19 in the third quarter and since then it was over for the Bulls.
Zach LaVine’s brutal honesty is very nice and is loved and respected by the fans around. But the Chicago Bulls now have to foucs in getting back on the track to win it all and keep their mad run this regular season active as they still lead the eastern conference. The future of the Bulls is bright as it is in safe hands with young guns and veterans around who have a real shot to win it all and reach to the National Basketball Association’s Finals. The only huddle in the way for Bulls will be Brooklyn Nets and it isn’t going to be that easy to win against a team like Nets in a 7 game series.
