The Brooklyn Nets led by Kevin Durant have had slumpy performances in the past few weeks, having lost their 11th straight match as the team struggles to find the long missing form which one created fear in their opposition.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in nothing but complete shambles keeping in mind that one third of the big three, Kevin Durant is injured and hasn’t been able to perform to the best of his abilities due to his injury ridden season, the other third of the team Kyrie Irving has been missing all home-games and has only been able to play in games that the Nets play outside of their home court in NYC.

The last third, that is the new addition to the Nets squad, Ben Simmons hasn’t been able to play yet as he was just traded to the Brooklyn Nets a few days ago, in exchange of James Harden who will now play for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Brooklyn Nets seem to have had the upper hand in the James Harden trade with Philadelphia 76ers as the team bagged big and performing names such as Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and a few others, which seem like a good exchange in place of James Harden who was already missing multiple games for the Brooklyn Nets, siting “injury” which seems to be a controversial topic as Harden had been showing interest in playing with the 76ers alongside Joel Embiid.

With what seems to be a turn in the tides against the Brooklyn Nets, the team has been struggling to find any form since the past few weeks as they’ve lost 11 straight matches and have come under fire due to the kind of expectations people have from the team, which at this point, have been lost.

The team has had an injury ridden season, playing shorthandedly in most of their matches as Kyrie Irving plays only once in a while when the Nets play outside of their home city, Kevin Durant suffers from injury which we currently have no updates on as to when he will be back in action, and the newest addition to the team, Ben Simmons won’t be able to play for the team till Harden starts playing for the 76ers, which seems weird, to say the least.

Despite the team struggling to find form and losing 11 straight matches, Kevin Durant seems optimistic while talking about the aspirations he has from the team, also highlighting the fact that they still have chances of winning the Championship this year. Durant said, “We know we’re in some deep sh*t. We understand that…But with one win, things can change.”

The players’ absence to the team might have had an impact on their overall performance and likewise, their approach to the further matches with such a mentality will definitely create a difference, helping them in moving forward.

Miami Heat seem to have made the best out of the lack of form in the Brooklyn Nets’ team as they cruised past the latter to take a 4-point margin victory against the handicapped team.

Bam Adebayo led the way for the Miami Heat with 19 points, 4 assists and 14 rebounds followed by Duncan Robinson who scored 17 and then Tyler Herro who scored 15 points. While on the other side, Kyrie Irving led the way for the Brooklyn Nets with 29 points followed by Cameron Thomas who scored 22 points and then Kessler Edwards who scored 13 points in an effort via which they fell short in order to attain victory against the home team.
