Patrick Beverley has been a changed man since he joined the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has improved his game in all aspects of basketball from playmaking, scoring, handling, to running down some IQ plays. He has overall improved himself since he joined the board with Karl Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards. Patrick Beverley is now also a great leader as he has guided the young guns in the Minnesota Timberwolves very rightly and the difference has been since. He has also changed the locker room energy of the team as out of nowhere unexpectedly many guys around him are acting tough and different now.
Recently, the Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Los Angeles Clippers at the Target Center for the play-in tournament. The game was closely contested and head to head. But the Minnesota Timberwolves under the leadership of Patrick Beverley outshined the Clippers and got the dub. As the final box score stands at 109-104 favoring the Minnesota Timberwolves. Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell got the job done as they had hot hands and ran the offense for the team while doing the most they can as their Big man Karl Anthony Towns was having an off day at work.
In the game, Patrick Beverley dropped 7 points, 3 assists, and had 11 rebounds. Along with stats the great defensive skillset of his and trash-talking skills were also present and active. This time the trash-talking skills of his got extended to the locker room where he took a shot at his former team who called him old and injury-prone to part ways with him.
