To be precise, back in 2015, LeBron James has made his way back to Cleveland Cavaliers after 4 years in Miami. Having joined forces with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, the King was asked upon the strategy of the team to stop the merciless Stephen curry.
When the reporter asked was how does one stop Curry, James had a slick reply, “Just like you slow me down, YOU CAN’T!” The same was brough back by Curry in a video with GQ.
That probably should have been the summary of the particular NBA Final series between the Cavs and Warriors. Not letting LeBron down, Stephen Curry was at the helm of all sufferings for his opponent.
The 3-point King managed to average 26 points and 6.3 assists as he led the Golden State Warriors to their first NBA Championship in 40 years. Safe to say, which was the start of Stephen Curry led Warriors meeting and beating Cleveland Cavaliers in the series of NBA Finals, back in the day.
How astonishing it is to see Stephen Curry still managing to post 25.5 points per game even in the 2021-22 season. But with him being out indefinitely, where will the Golden State Warriors finish the regular season? And who will their first-round opponents be? Remains to be seen.
