Trae Young joins the elite offensive list
Trae Young and Atlanta Hawks hosted the Phoenix Suns at StateFarm Arena and after a closely contested head-to-head match-up, the Hawks did the unexpected as they ended the 11 game winning streak of the Suns. The game was very close as the offensive end of both the teams is carried by two to-be great scorers Trae Young and Devin Booker. The game was unpredictable most of the time with the lead being short and close. But the Hawks outscored the Suns in the third quarter and eventually won the game.
The final box score stands at 124-115. Currently, the Atlanta Hawks are ranked as the tenth seed in the eastern conference with the record of 25 wins and 26 losses at .490 as they find their way back in the run. On the other hand, the Phoenix Suns are ranked as the first seed in the western conference with the best record in the league of 41 wins and 10 losses at .804. Every credit for the win goes to the godlike shooting skills of Trae Young.
Trae Young in the game dropped 43 points, 5 assists and 1 steal and registered the 20th 40-point game of his career. After the game, Trae is now the ninth player to record at least twenty 40-point games before turning 24 in the league’s history. He joined the elite company of Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal and Wilt Chamberlain. Not many players in the league have that potential of running the offensive end that hot while being under 24 this brings great attention and right recognition to Trae Young.
