“Who needs drafted picks”: Twitter reacts to Miami Heat’s undrafted players scoring 83 points in win over Magic 115-105

Miami Heat entered their latest game against the Orlando Magic with the like of their marquee players like Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro and Markieff Morris all unavailable. Moreover, with the road trip in Orlando, Magic was expected to clinch the game as majority of the players representing the Heat Culture were undrafted. But hoop fans were about to witness something very special.
Not only that, with majority of the Miami Heat players on the bench or unavailable, Erik Spoelstra seemed to be running out of option to pick his starting five before the start of the game. But ever since the Heat vs Magic game commenced, the undrafted players – Max Strus and Gabe Vincent led the charge for the away team with 32 and 27 points respectively.

Miami Heat’s Undrafted players clinch victory against Orlando Magic
Having said that Max Strus came off the bench to score his career high 32 points, leaving hoop fans in awe of the Miami Heat’s undrafted players’ potential. Gabe Vincent too showed Erik Spoelstra that he can very well take in more responsibility after knocking massive 27 points, most of which came in the clutch.
With this win, Miami Heat managed to register their 18th win of the season. On the other hand, Orlando Magic who were led by Franz Wagner with 27 points registered their 25th loss of the season. In the 2021-22 season, Magic has won only 5 wins in 30 encounters so far.
With another miraculous victory register by the Heat courtesy to the hard fought effort of Max Strus and Gabe Vincent, hoop fans could not help but appreciate the potential of the undrafted players in the side. Take a look at some of the best reactions below-
