Behind the scenes, LeBron has contributed abundance towards society, children’s welfare, and the African-American community.
At the peak of the Black Lives Matter movement, LeBron was very vocal about his views on the issues. Many critics and followers of the game urged him to “shut and dribble” or criticized him for doing little than expected. “I have this platform, and I’m somebody that has a voice of command,” said James. Former UFC Welterweight Champion Colby Covington has always been someone who never fails to voice an opinion and stand up for justice but he also attacks my other professionals in the mix of it. During the time of the George Floyd incident, Covington fired shots toward many professional athletes and most notably LeBron James.
In a post-fight press conference, the former champ spoke on his opponent Tyron Woodley’s “give up” attitude explaining that he was much more determined and fearless than Woodley and “spineless coward” LeBron James. Covington usually dedicates his fights to law enforcement and military officers saying that he wishes to stand up for the first responders and for what is right unlike James while slipping in another “spineless coward” label.
