Ja Morant

There would absolutely be no hoop fan who hasn’t been impressed by Memphis Grizzlies’ marquee JA Morant in the 2021-22 season. Known as an athletic beast, the first time All-Star displayed just why he can make among the greats after leading a young and energetic side among the top ranks of the Western Conference. However, in the Grizzlies’ latest showdown against the Hornets, it seems like the 22-years-old might have contained an ankle injury.

The good news for the Grizzlies is that JA Morant was able to return in the fourth quarter to finish the game. It doesn’t seem like the ankle bothered the 22-year-old for the rest of the contest, but he could have some tests done on that ankle after the game. Hopefully, it is nothing serious and the 22-years-old PG can participate in the ASG with prime health.

Take a look at how NBA fans all over the world reacted upon the same-

That being said, the Grizzlies emerged victorious 125-118 after being led by JA Morant with 26 points and Desmond Bane with 25 points. On the other hand, the Charlotte Hornets did have a late surge in the fourth quarter wherein they outscore the away team 43-26, being led by Terry Rozier with game-high 35 points. But it surely wasn’t enough as the Grizzlies extended their winning streak to 5-games. Will the Grizzlies be able to improve their claim in the Western Conference? Certainly, looks like it.
