“WTH! Decide you dress code BRO” JA Morant’s Grizzlies and OKC Thunder go full Shaqtin with wardrobe malfunction

Ja Morant and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are two of the most thrilling young guards in the NBA and for sure, they won’t let a little wardrobe mishap derail their competitive nature.

Many believe that the colour of peace is always white and that the colour of purity is also white, but that doesn’t mean that two promising teams should always dawn them. Not understanding? The latest showdown between JA Morant’s Memphis Grizzlies and Shai Gilgeous Alexander’s Oklahoma City Thunder took the center stage wearing white jerseys, which caused an unexpected delay.

Safe to say, after this moment before the tip-off in the Grizzlies vs OKC Thunder matchup, Shaquille O’Neal will be rubbing his palms somewhere, excited to troll both these teams in the next segment. Take a look at the video below to witness how bamboozled were the players themselves.

Grizzlies and OKC Thunder come out wearing white jerseys, leaving everyone confused

Everyone inside the arena and watching the broadcast of this game, surely had one question in their mind, didn’t they notice that they were both sporting white jerseys during the warm-ups? They look like they’re in an old Puff Daddy music video.

After a few minutes of nonchalantly looking around and perhaps feigning ignorance, the Grizzlies went back to their locker room to change their uniform, as they were called out, quite sheepishly by the referees. It was a fun, light moment for the Grizzlies and the Thunder before they try cutting each other’s throats.

The Grizzlies as well as the OKC Thunder contain some of the most athletic, natural and highly admired players in their roster, including JA Morant and Shai Gilgeous Alexander. With both marquee stars pumped up to lock horns against one another, it was hilarious to see them staring at the opposition with a confused look.

The Memphis Grizzlies are handful of wins away to book their 2nd seed in the Western Conference, but with Golden State Warriors also picking up pace, will they be able to firmly lock horns against a play-in tournament team? Remains to be seen as the hoop festivity in the 2021-22 season continues in full swing.
