“You needed me” Seth Curry’s savage stare down at Doc Rivers after contested 3 has fans going crazy
Seth Curry
Seth Curry has always been the most underrated player in the current NBA and his recent performance against his former team the Philadelphia 76ers is the biggest example of it. One can say that this match was for the retaliation by Seth for trading him to another team and to remind the Sixers management that they lost a lot better shooter from their campaign and it’s their biggest mistake.
Seth Curry while playing with the Nets scored 24 points, 5 steals, and 2 assists which played a huge role in the victory for his new team but Curry didn’t forget to give a proper answer to his former team. In the third quarter, when the Nets were already leading Curry was still working to move them to an unreachable score and while running on fast-break he pulled a successful three-pointer after which he gave an insulting stare down to the bench of the Sixers.
Is trading Seth Curry to the Brooklyn Nets the biggest mistake for the Sixers?
The Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets game was full of drama has the Sixers fans came to boo their former players but at the end, they booed their own team for losing the game against the Nets by 100-129 at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night
This was the first matchup between the two teams since their blockbuster deal back on Feb. 10, where the Sixers traded Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, and Seth Curry for Nets James Harden. In this game, the Sixers fans were ready to lower the confidence of their former player but Seth Curry ignored all the discouragement and gave them a proper answer with his outstanding performance.
The Sixers were mostly focused on Kyrie and KD, which helped Seth Curry to make more space and score which he also discussed during the postgame interview. “Just being aggressive,” said Curry.
Further, he added, “Just two guys that are obviously going to draw a lot of attention, but they’re also unselfish. They wanted me here for a reason. Sean wanted me here for a reason just try to space the floor, be aggressive, make plays as well, so they trust me. I try to go out there and make the game easier for them.”
Curry has already synced with the Nets offense and if he continues shooting so well for the team there is no doubt that the Brooklyn-based franchise will again start rising in the east and become a better championship contender than the Sixers.
