When James Harden revealed that he had ‘no pressure’ upon his shoulders before entering the playoffs with Philadelphia 76ers, many questioned his mindset. The latest being Charles Barkley who hilariously trolled the Beard for the same take. Safe to say, the Hall of Famer only went onto remind Harden that he is playing for one of the most notorious cities in the NBA.

Given the fanbase of Sixers, they do not hold back to applaud their heroes, and also to condemn those who disappoint. A case which surely should be learnt from Ben Simmons. However, take a look on how Barkley clowned James Harden for the same take.

Upon hearing those thoughts of James Harden not feeling any pressure ahead of the playoff series, Barkley didn’t hold back in reminding Harden that he is playing for a Sixers team in Philadelphia–a city notorious for its unforgiving fans.

If there is anyone who knows how difficult it is to play in Philly, there’s no better one to ask than Charles Barkley. He spent the majority of his career with the Sixers, and while he was a star for the team during his tenure, they weren’t able to get to that promised land.

That being said, if things do work out, James Harden has the chance of winning his maiden NBA Championship alongside Joel Embiid. Given that the latter could also be the MVP for 2021-22 season, Embiid’s scoring prowess has haunted every defensive unit. Moreover, his passion has encouraged his teammates like Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris and D. Green to perform better in each successive game.

Will Harden be trolled once again on global stage? Or is the Beard coming out for redemption with the Sixers? Remains to be seen
