LeBron James is out there already recruiting stars for the Los Angeles Lakers so they can shine out next season. Since this one has been very disappointing for him. He achieved some legendary records but now stands out of the playoffs contention. As the Phoenix Suns wiped him and the Los Angeles Lakers off the picture to even make it to the play-in tournament. Most of the blame for the season failure goes to LeGM (LeBron James) because the signings brought in by him like Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and others have been very disappointing in reality. Even though the names just had the media and the fan base declare them as the season champions. But nothing aged well and soon the franchise will wrap up for this season.
His latest recruitment can be Mason Jones of G-League South Bay Lakers. Mason Jones was a hot college star who shined on many individual moments. He went undrafted in the 2020 National Basketball Association’s Draft. Since then he has been on a roller-coaster signing two-way contracts and getting waived off by the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers. This even led him to step into the G-League where he signed with the South Bay Lakers. Recently, with the stars not suiting up for the remaining meaningless games the Lakers called the G-League gem Mason Jones up and he got an exchange with LeBron James which has him viral all over the internet.
Mason Jones is currently on a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers as he got called up. In his third game for the Lakers playing for 18 minutes, he dropped 18 points and had 1 assist while making all of the shots he attempted inside and behind the arc too. His efforts were ahead of what the team and superstars were even thinking to put in as he showcased his great defensive skillset too.

LeBron James recruiting Mason Jones
Mason Jones was dabbing up everyone after he got subbed out of the game. But he got the job done as he made a big difference and left a mark for himself against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He even dabbed up LeBron James and Anthony Davis as they offered a hand of appreciation watching the young gun go up and off and help the team to add a W to their losing record.
LeBron James and Mason Jones even had an exchange between them. Probably that was LeGm getting his job done and making sure he is around here next season when the squad will be healthy and he can get a better signing to cut off the blame and criticism he is facing. The Los Angeles Lakers really need some young guards and players like Mason Jones. As the veteran roster is good for nothing when unhealthy and the team lacks chemistry with mobility may be something the young guns can work on.
