On 14th April, Mumbai Indians hosted Chennai Super Kings and lost their fourth match of the season. MI conceded 206 runs in the first innings and couldn’t chase it down despite Rohit Sharma‘s century. In the crowd were many Bollywood stars and many couldn’t believe the show in front of them. 

One of them was Neha Dhupia, who was left with her jaws dropped in the final over of the first innings. In the final over, MS Dhoni came into bat and proceeded to smack Hardik Pandya for three consecutive sixes. Dhupia was amazed by the Indian legend’s flawless hitting and her reaction showed it. Kunal Khemu was recording the over on his phone and was entertained by the incredible ball striking on display.

Along with Dhupia were many celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham. Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar, was there to support the team. Unfortunately MI lost the match by 20 runs, dropping down to 8th place. 

Fans react to Neha Dhupia’s reaction

When the video of Neha Dhupia losing her mind to MS Dhoni’s sixes went viral, many found it funny. Some criticized her for “overacting“, joking that her reactions were over the top. Some referenced her time at MTV Roadies, where she said, ‘It’s her choice,’ while claiming that a girl could cheat on her boyfriend.

Mumbai Indians now travel for the first time in 17 days, as they play Punjab Kings on 18th April. CSK will play Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings twice in the span of five matches. They currently stand third in the points table, tied on points with Kolkata Knight Riders.
